Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2 August 2026

These terms govern your use of our website and the Power Configurator, and your purchase of Reports and Credits. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. Who we are

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Future Energy Venture website and the Power Configurator at app.futureenergyventure.com (together, the “Platform”), operated by Future Energy Venture Ltd, a company registered in Seychelles (registration number 249798), registered address c/o Abacus (Seychelles) Limited, Suite 3, Global Village, Jivan's Complex, Mont Fleuri, Mahé, Seychelles, P.O. Box 931 (“FEV”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or purchasing a report or credits, you agree to these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • “Power Configurator” — our online tool that produces indicative, screening-level power project scopes.
  • “Report” — a digital output generated by the Power Configurator (for example a detailed scope, feasibility memorandum or financial outline).
  • “Credits” — prepaid units that can be redeemed to generate Reports.
  • “Services” — FEV’s separate professional engineering and development services, which are contracted directly and are not sold through the Platform.

3. The Power Configurator

The Power Configurator generates indicative, screening-level outputs based on the parameters you provide and on benchmark assumptions. It is a decision-support tool, not a substitute for detailed engineering.

Reports do not constitute engineering, financial, legal or investment advice. A financeable feasibility study requires detailed engineering and sign-off by qualified engineers. You are responsible for how you use the outputs, and any decisions you make based on them are at your own risk. See our Disclaimer for more.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for any organisation you represent.

5. Orders, payment and Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Conditions.

Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes collected by Paddle. Reports and Credits are digital products. We may change prices from time to time; changes do not affect orders already placed.

6. Credits

Credits are prepaid and are redeemed to generate Reports. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value except as set out in our Refund Policy. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

7. Licence and acceptable use

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform and the Reports you generate for your own internal business purposes. You must not resell, sublicense or redistribute the Reports or the tool, attempt to reverse-engineer the Platform, misuse it, or use it unlawfully.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, its content and the underlying models are owned by FEV or its licensors. You retain ownership of the project inputs you enter. You grant us a licence to process those inputs to provide the service and, in aggregated and anonymised form, to improve our models.

9. Disclaimers and no warranty

The Platform and Reports are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties as to the accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose of any output. Outputs are indicative and for screening only.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FEV’s total liability arising out of or in connection with the Platform is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant Report or Credits in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue or opportunity. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. Provisions that by their nature survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability) continue to apply.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted here with its “last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Seychelles, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
